General self -care after a treatment:
Drink plenty of filtered water - preferably not from a plastic bottle as they leach toxin to which the body will absorb
Eat lightly - often the body desires grease, coffee or red meat... this is usually to help ground you. It's better to avoid but if you are really desiring these foods just eat a small amount and then fill up on something lighter. Also, try to stick to organic foods and drink.
If your feeling emotional... allow your self to experience the emotion without judgment. Often we may have no idea why the crying is happening but it doesn't matter... the body is just releasing energy, it is temporary and you will feel lighter. If strong lower energy emotion persists constently for more then 24hrs you should contact me. This is very rare but may signal that a deeper issue is present and a Reiki or IET® session is needed.
Get plenty of rest - Our bodies heal and integrate best during sleep.
Do not drink alcohol or participate in drugs for 24hrs - if you must because of special event take it easy having just one or two. The effects of alcohol or drugs will be heightened because of how clean your system is. Also, during times of alcohol and drug use our energy system is left wide open. Thus causing a need for another energy clearing. If this is part of your ongoing life at this time I highly suggest you learn how to care for your energy system on a daily basis and book regular energy clearings with myself.
Take a bath with Epsom salts - Epsoms salt help to remove toxins from the body. If you can can not take a bath then shower and rub the salts on your body. Sea salt can also be effective here.
Laugh - Go easy on yourself... enjoy each moment
7 Days - Know that the energy general continues to move through the body, healing you for 7 days. It is generally recommended that an energy healing session is repeated weekly until your life is where you want it to be. Then bi-weekly to monthly sessions. Alternately, taking workshops to learn how to manage your energy will save you time and money.
